(Beijing, February 28) In today's women's -67kg semifinals of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2008 Taekwondo International Invitational Tournament, China's Si Hui and Canada's Karine Sergerie beat their rivals respectively to enter the final. On the men's side, Ali Sari of Turkey will take on Abdairhman Osama of Egypt in the men's -80kg gold medal match.

Neither China's Si Hui nor Australian Tina Morgan scored in the first round of their -67kg semi. The score was tied at 1 all after the second and Si made a winning point with three seconds left to make it to the final.

In the other semi between China's Liu Jing and Canadian Karine Sergerie, the Chinese managed to come from one point behind in the first round to tie the score at 1 all after the second period, but it was Sergerie, who set up his style to take over the match, winning 5-2.

In the men's -80kg semifinals, China's Zhou Guo and Turkey's Ali Sari produced a cliffhanger, in which the score was tied from 1-1 to 3 all. Sari first hit his opponent in the sudden-death round for a berth in the final.

Egyptian Abdairhman Osama also qualified for the final after beating Juan Sanchez of Puerto Rico 4-3 in the other semi fight.
